Amy Jo Johnson's Biography
-- Amy Jo Johnson was born on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA. As a child she competed as a gymnast, learning skills that would later be of great use to her in her breakthrough role as Kimberly Hart the Pink Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993). After she left the series in 1995, Johnson played roles in several television movies. From 1998-2000 she starred in the hit TV show Felicity as Julie Emrick, a chum to Felicity (played by Keri Russell). Amy's own talents as a musician have come into play in her role on this show. The Johnson's song "Puddle Of Grace" was popular on the radio and added to the Felicity's official soundtrack. In 2004, Johnson played Stacy Reynolds, one of the policewoman of the Lifetime police drama The Division and in 2005 she joined the cast of the TV drama Wildfire as famous jockey Tina Sharp. Johnson also played Karen, the Brian's girlfriend on the Tv show What About Brian.
Other television appearances include Hard Ground (2004) and guest starring roles on ER (2001) and Spin City (2002). Her films include Killing Mr. Griffin (1997), Sweetwater (1999), Interstate 60 (2002) and Magma (2006).
Equally passionate about music, Johnson has released two album: The Trans-American Treatment (2002) and Imperfect (2005), for which she has earned rave reviews during her frequent performances in Los Angeles and New York. She also contributed guest vocals to Koishii & Hush's cover of The Cars track "Since You're Gone", released as single in 2007.
She enjoys volunteering and has trekked to Bosnia as a volunteer with the Global Children's Organization ( and to Tanzania with Global Volunteers.
Johnson is currently starring as Julianna “Jules” Callaghan in the Canadian CTV television series Flashpoint. Amy Jo Johnson's song "Dancing In-between" has been featured on Flashpoint and released as single.
